Game Over View:-
GoJoe
has been grounded again by mum, just as the Travelling Circus rolls
into town. But he sneaks off to check it out anyway. Inside
the Big Top, he comes across a huge cannon filled with sweats.
A temptation to great to pass up, GoJoe fires it to the dismay of a
group of now angry clowns.
So take
control of GoJoe and collect all the lollies form each level whiles
avoiding the angry clowns. Collect power orbs to transform GoJoe
into Mega Joe, a fast, mean green hulk like beast that loves to squash
anything that gets in his way.
GoJoe
is a new fast paced 3D action game, very much along the lines of old
classics like paceman and Q-Bit, with a little touch of our humour thrown
in for good measure. GoJoe PoGo is great, wholesome entertainment that
the whole family can enjoy any time of the day.

Development
History:-
The original
GoJoe demo was entered into the Dark Basic Retro Comp back in April 2003.
It took us 2 weeks to put together and used a very cut back version
of our Tito Engine. It ended up coming in 9th and won us a copy
of Dark Basic Pro.
We then
showed the demo to a few publisher and got a mostly positive response
back. So we spent another 6 weeks making the full game.
We brought in another 3d modeller, Dave and had some new original music
put together from a locale guy here called Ralph. We put together
another 14 levels and added a number of new clowns. We added the
picture books and then signed it to a small publisher in the UK.
Things where looking sweat :) A few weeks after another publisher
offered us $6k up front for it. But with the contract signed,
we had to turn then down (or did we?).
Anyway,
over the next 4 months, Gojoe been slowly selling steadily. But
we have now decided to try and re-launch a new improved version ourselves.
GoJoe V1.2 features a few much needed improvements and a cheaper price
tag. We still think its a fun little game and believe that there
is life left in it. While working back on this new version, it
has inspired us to start work on GoJoe V2. We will keep you up
to date on its future development.

GoJoe Media:-
...As with
all Dimsdale & Kreozot games, GoJoe Pogo has its own unique presentation:
the graphics and the sound are equally hilarious. If nothing else
you should treasure this for its peculiar comedy appearance.

What do
you get if you take the pill eating escapades of pacman, swap the pills
for sweets and cakes and change the ghosts into clowns - oh, and then
swap the maze for a Q-Bert style isometric grid? Well meet GoJoe and
his trust PoGo stick! This game is a rather innovative blend of the
two and while not strictly a retro remake it does contain enough of
the titles mentioned to be included here.

Please Note:-
Dimsdale and Kreozot United Games Manufactures take no responsibilities
for people using a PoGo stick in any form after playing GoJoe. Any Clowns,
Strongmen or Ring Masters likeness to any actual people is purely unlucky
for them. We know of a good plastic surgeon that may be able to
help, if you need some. They offer pretty good rebates on medical
insurances.
